On October 1, 2010 Changzhou Prime Automotive Paint Co. Ltd became part of AkzoNobel of The Netherlands, the World’s largest coating company. The official name of the company changed to Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes (Suzhou) Company – Limited – Changzhou Branch Company. The business continues to operate as “Prime”. 

Prime is based in the Changzhou high-tech Industrial zone and covers an area of 20,000 square meters. Prime specializes in care repair paint, water-based road marking paint, plastic paints and automobile paints and has an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons of paint and a water-based paint production capacity of 20,000 tons.
